Sorella Williams: The Work is Progressing!

Hello!

This is going to be short!

Marilena is doing awesome! We extended the 'soft' baptism invite to her, which is basically inviting someone to baptism without a date set yet, and she accepted! She came to church and it was amazing. People were good about talking to her and making friendships and she really loved it.

I got to see Sorella Castro! She had to come up to do permesso stuff with me and it was just like the good old days.

Rachele's baptism is Saturday and we are all so excited! Anziano Simkins and I are singing (lolz) and their family is all coming up from Sicily. Fernando also is bringing his whole family, who are not members, to the baptism as well. Marilena is coming too to see how it all goes and so are Eglayda and Fernando!

WE ATE THE BEST FOOD called Papusas from El Salvador. We learned how to make them from a member named Rachele. A bunch of her friends came over and we taught them some of the basic principles of the church including the restoration. The spirit was so strong. It was the best night ever.

We had a breakfast party with Fernando and Eglayda and we made french toast. They were freaking out hahaha. Yet again they couldn't understand the amount of syrup or why there was so much cinnamon, but they loved it. We talked about the spirit world and Eglayda got emotional because her father died when she was really young and hasn't truly ever found peace from it all. It was a great lesson.

We did finding one night and we ended up around the Prada building and they had just ended their fashion show!! We saw some crazy models walking around in crazy clothes and there were paparazzi everywhere! We were laughing so hard because we looked like hobos around the best dressed people in the world. But it was pretty dang cool.

We met a new girl named Francesca who was a miracle. I was on scambio and we were talking to this older lady, but I kept seeing this 19 year old girl looking at me and smiling! I didn't know how to awkwardly make my way over and ditch the old lady on a moving train! So I said a small prayer and she ended up getting off at the same stop as us! We started talking to her and she offered to walk us all the way to the place we were having our next appointment! We were able to talk a lot about the church and she is very interested. Francesca is her name and shes my new fav ragazza (girl)

We had a joint zone conference with two other zones so it was a big meeting! Sorella Anderson and I did training on effective study and it was so fun because we started out playing a game. We ended up pranking everyone (it had to do with what we were teaching don't worry) and it was hilarious. Even President fell for it.

We talked a lot about being bold and faithful. There truly is no fear when you are on the lord's side and that is such a beautiful thing.
